Nature is a star attraction in Mission Beach. This area is the only place on earth where two World-Heritage listed areas meet - the Great Barrier Reef and Wet Tropics Rainforest.

It’s a haven of cool lush greenery, tropical marine life, trickling streams and exotic wildlife.

The Mission Beach region is also renowned for its walking tracks.  Try the extremely beautiful Lacey Creek trail where you wander through rainforest and then cool off by taking a dip in  magnificent swimming hole.  Or visit Bicton Hill, a shady rainforest path that leads to magnificent view of the coastline. Make sure to keep your eyes out for rare palms and cycads.
